This is the page where I tell you about how great I am, although chances are that if you’ve been reading the blog posts you already have a pretty good idea. However, in case you missed it, my name is Dennis Biles and I recently graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in journalism. I was born and raised in the East Bay and currently reside in Oakland in the Fruitvale district.
This blog was originally created for a class project during the Spring 2012 semester, and once I received my ‘A’ in the class I naturally got lazy and stopped updating it. Now that I have a lot more time on my hands I figured I should start it back up with the intent of kick starting my career somehow. Or just have some fun.
I’ll be talking about anything and everything related to the Oakland Athletics and baseball in general. Whether it happens on the field, in the front office, or in the bleachers, I’ll let you know. A lot goes down during the course of a baseball season, and this blog will be there for every step of the way, showing you the grueling grind from a fan’s perspective.
If you ever need to find me somewhere, like if you want to spit in my face because I offended you somehow or to buy me a beer because my superior wisdom has improved your life, just go to the Oakland Coliseum during a game and head to Section 149 (right field bleachers). I have season tickets for the whole year, so it’s a rare day that I miss a game. Come say hey and see how the rowdiest crew in baseball gets down!
